Why “Michi”?
Michi (道) is the Japanese word for “way” or “path.” Finding the right job is a path, not a lottery - and Michi is built to help you walk it, toward roles that genuinely fit.

How matching works
The platform reads your CV and identifies the experience, skills, tools, and professional background described in it.
That information is then compared against the requirements of available roles.
Jobs that closely align with your background appear as matches. Jobs that don't align closely enough are not shown as matches.
In some cases, the system may identify specific skills that appear repeatedly in roles that are almost within reach, helping you understand what is currently limiting your opportunities.
What a match means
A match is not a guarantee of an interview or job offer. It is an indication that your background appears to align well with the requirements of that role.
The higher the match, the stronger the overlap between your experience and the needs of the position.
A low score does not mean you are unqualified as a professional. It only means there is currently a gap between what the role requires and what your CV demonstrates.

Some additional professional areas are supported, but coverage and precision may vary. As the platform grows, support for more fields will continue to improve.
Honest limitations
No matching system can fully understand a person. Michi only works with the information available in your CV.
If important skills, responsibilities, or achievements are missing from the document, the platform cannot account for them.
Similarly, a match score measures alignment with a specific role - not your potential, talent, or long-term career prospects.
The platform is designed to provide guidance, not verdicts.
