About Michi
Why “Michi”?
Michi (道) is the Japanese word for “way” or “path.” Finding the right job is a path, not a lottery - and Michi is built to help you walk it, toward roles that genuinely fit.
Matching, not searching
Most job sites hand you hundreds of listings and leave the sifting to you. Michi starts from the other end: upload your CV and it reads your real experience - the skills, tools, and roles you have actually held - then compares that against every live job it tracks. What fits appears as a ranked short list. What doesn't stays out of your way.
The goal isn't more applications. It's better ones. And for the roles you're close to, Michi shows which skill would unlock the most new matches - counted against live jobs, never guessed.
What a match means
A match means your background lines up well with what a role asks for. It's a measure of fit for that specific role - not a guarantee of an interview, and never a judgement of you. Michi only knows what your CV says: if important skills or achievements aren't in the document, it can't account for them.

Where the jobs come from
Michi doesn't host jobs of its own. We collect remote roles from public job boards, check them, and match them against your CV. Right now they come from Himalayas, Jobicy, MeetFrank, Remote OK, We Work Remotely, and Working Nomads.
Applying opens the original posting on that site. Some of those sites may ask you to create an account before you can apply. Michi never needs one of those accounts, and never sees it.

Michi is built in Georgia by Paata Jibuti. It's free for job seekers, and your CV is never sold, and never shared with an employer or recruiter - the details are in our Data Safety summary.
